The Legend of Tai Chi

Picture next to the legend of Tai Chi

There are countless legends about the origins of Tai Chi.

The most beautiful story in my opinion is about a man who sat on top of a mountain and quietly observed nature. He felt inspired by the movement of the universe around him until he began to move and imitate the forces of nature that he saw around him. He became the sky, the earth, the fire and the water, the trees, the wind and the clouds, the birds and the animals.

He was happy with his dancing and called these movements by the names that characterized them: "Embrace the tiger and bring it back to the mountains", "Cloud hands", "Fist of the seven stars". He was the inventor of tai chi. This legend could have happened many years ago or now, somewhere in the world and this person could be you...
